Brisbane FLOWERS DELIVERED
One of the most beautiful locations in Brisbane to see flowers, the City Botanic Gardens contain some of the most mature and unusual botanic species in Brisbane and a wonderful collection of seasonal flowers. The site was selected by Walter Hill in 1828, and some of the older trees in the gardens were the first of their species in Australia, thanks to Hill’s experiments to adapt European species to the Australian environment. For over 100 years the gardens were also home to a tortoise named Harriet, who was reportedly collected from the Galapagos by Charles Darwin on his 1835 voyage. The gardens are described by the Queensland Heritage Register as “the most significant non-Aboriginal cultural landscape in Queensland”.
Unfortunately (or fortunately for the gardens) you can't take flowers from the gardens! So get your flowers from Floraly instead. We deliver to all suburbs in Brisbane and surrounding areas.
