Milsons Point is a diverse and multicultural suburb, with a range of amenities to suit everyone's needs. The Kirribilli Hotel, a local favourite, offers a great selection of craft beers and delicious pub fare, while the Aqua Dining restaurant (although temporarily closed for renovations) provides diners with breathtaking views of the harbour while enjoying fine dining. The Luna Park amusement park, located at the northern end of the suburb, is a popular attraction for families and thrill-seekers alike. There are several lookouts dotted along the waterfront parkland, which offer breath-taking views of the glistening harbour and great vantage points for photography (though you might struggle to find a place during the New Years fireworks).
Twice a month, Milsons Point hosts the famous Kirribilli Markets, one of Sydney’s oldest markets. With over 200 stalls laid out in the Burton Street tunnel, which stretches beneath the Milsons Point Train Station, and the neighbouring Milsons Point Bowling Club lawn, there’s always plenty of interesting crafts, fashion, knick-knacks and cuisines on offer. If you’re struggling to find someone a birthday or Christmas present, Kirribilli Markets is bound to have something!
