Prized for their ability to cleanse the air and for their low-fuss nature, peace lilies are a thoughtful, long-lasting gift for any occasion. In particular, peace lilies are said to symbolise peace (of course), as well as purity, healing and sympathy. This makes them an especially lovely condolences or get-well-soon gift.

What's in the box? 

Includes a Peace Lily plant and a decorative white ceramic pot. Pot will be secured within a travel bag for transportation.

Please note that as these plants are living things, each one is unique and may therefore appear different to the one pictured here. Your peace lily may also arrive without any white flowers, but the plant will produce them with time and proper care.

Plant is approximately 17cm wide at the pot and 50–60cm tall. Repot when plant has outgrown its current one.

Care tips 

• Peace lilies will tolerate low-light conditions but may not produce their white spathe flowers unless they receive several hours of bright, filtered sunlight. Avoid direct sun, which may scorch the leaves
• Peace lilies thrive in warm, humid conditions; consider spritzing leaves with water, especially in summer
• Peace lilies prefer to be underwatered rather than overwatered. Watch for their signature droop — this is when you know a watering is due. Once watered, your peace lily will perk right back up
• Mildly toxic to cats, dogs and people — keep safely out of reach of children and pets.
